In full-arch dentistry, passive fit is a very important part of the restoration. A hybrid connects across multiple multi-unit abutments, and the goal is for that prosthetic to seat without creating strain between those connection points.

That’s one of the reasons we use photogrammetry. Accurately recording implant positions gives our design team the information they need to ensure a passive fit from the beginning.

The provisional is part of the process and gives the patient a fixed restoration during healing, while also giving the clinical team an opportunity to evaluate the case before the final zirconia restoration is produced.

That's one reason our All-On-X package includes a revision to the milled next-day provisional if needed. We would rather have the ability to refine something during the provisional stage than rush toward the final because everyone feels like they only get one shot.

A good workflow leaves room to evaluate.

One of the most important parts of an All-On-X case happens before we ever even get started on surgery day The digital wax-up gives the team an opportunity to see the planned design ahead of time and make adjustments before the case reaches the operatory.

For guided workflows, surgical planning can also happen during this stage. It’s much easier to talk through the details while they’re still digital than after the patient is already in the chair.

Planning is such an important part of the workflow, not a formality before it.

Not every surgeon approaches an All-On-X case the same way. Some prefer a guided workflow, while others work freehand.

Lucky for everyone we work with, our photogrammetry workflow is compatible with both.

That's important because the lab shouldn't be forcing a surgeon into one clinical approach simply to make the restorative workflow possible. We want the technology to support the way your team works, not become another obstacle in the process.

For an All-On-X case, the laboratory shouldn’t feel like the final stop after everyone else has done their part.

The restorative outcome is being shaped long before a provisional is milled. That’s why our workflow begins with pre-op design and planning, continues into surgery with on-site photogrammetry, and carries through the provisional and final restoration.

The lab is part of the team! The earlier everyone is working from the same plan, the better the process can be for the doctor and the patient.

If you want a partnership with a highly experienced lab, plan a case with us today. Visit www.spectrumdentalscience.com for more information.

Capturing implant position is only one small part of the All-On-X workflow; we also need to maintain the patient's bite position.

Those two pieces of information must come together in the restoration. Our digital workflow is designed to preserve the bite, so the team isn’t trying to track down critical information later in the process.

The technology gets a lot of attention, but equally as important is what happens when all of the data becomes something the patient can actually function with. Changing lives with high-aesthetic, functional restorations is an everyday occurrence for us.

Your patient probably isn't going home and telling their family how excited they are about iCAM photogrammetry, but they do care about their smile!

They care about feeling comfortable with the treatment they've chosen and confident in the team handling it! We're the ones who get excited about coordinates, angulations, passive fit and micron-level tolerances because all of those little technical details are happening behind a result that feels incredibly personal to the patient.

That's what good technology should do.

Spectrum isn't a massive production lab!

We've grown intentionally and built our team carefully, while investing heavily in the technology behind the work we want to be known for. That means we're able to be involved, answer questions, and actually work through a case with your team. For our All-On-X workflow, we can even be there in the operatory capturing the data.

We're not trying to become the biggest lab in the market, we're just trying to build the kind of lab that we'd want on our own clinical team.

We know that not every surgery goes exactly as planned, that's just dentistry, and life!

Our All-On-X package includes an immediate denture as a backup in case immediate loading isn't possible. Hopefully it isn't needed! But, building a predictable workflow also means planning for the moments when the original plan has to change.

We'd rather have the backup ready and never use it than need it and not have it!

You've probably heard "teeth in a day" or "next-day teeth."

Within our workflow that means that after implant placement and data capture, Spectrum produces a milled PMMA provisional for next-day delivery.

It's called a provisional because it isn't the patient's final zirconia restoration. Healing and osseointegration still need to occur before the process is complete.

The transformation can happen incredibly quickly. But there's still a carefully planned process happening after that first new smile.
