Introducing our staff. Dr Steve Dixon, with a Bachelors degree from ISU and an MBA from the University of Utah, Dr. Dixon graduated from Virginia Common Wealth University’s School of Dentistry in 2008 and has been practicing in the Magic Valley since then. Working towards Fellowship in the American General Association, Dr. Dixon continually seeks out opportunities in Continuing Education, focusing in Restorative Dentistry, Dental Implants, Sedation Dentistry, and Sleep Science. Four boys and one little girl and darling wife occupy Dr Dixon’s time when he is away from the office and he loves every minute of it. .

Dental sealants are a good preventative measure to help reduce your chances of getting cavities! Sealants are perfect for kids who are starting to get their permanent molars and premolars!

Kids usually aren't scared of what they know. Happy Visits starting early (~one yr old) where we can show them what happens in a dental visit go a long way to alleviating fears. Parents can help at home too by avoiding negative language commonly associated with a dental visit. When kids hear "I hate the dentist" and "shots really hurt" or "I hate being numb" they can create fears that are not based on their own experience. We love taking care of the little ones and only refer to the specialist when we have too. Having them help polish parents or siblings teeth help them to see it’s not scary! We look forward to helping you and your family smile.
