Chewing is one of the most overlooked parts of childhood development. 🦷✨

Think of it like a workout for the face and jaws.

The more we allow children to CHEW, the more we support:
• oral muscle + jaw development
• healthy bone and tissue growth
• better function + breathing
• and even facial development over time

That’s why we encourage parents to be mindful of overly soft, processed foods becoming the “default”. Things like purées from pouches, Goldfish, Cheerios, and other refined snacks.

Choose whole foods more often and give kids opportunities to chew real textures:
🍎 apples
🥕 carrots
🥒 celery
🥩 meats
🧀 firmer foods
🥜 crunchy foods (age appropriate)

Modern diets have made eating easier… but easier isn’t always better for development. 💛
