A message from the practice of Dr. Karen Pate

Dear patients and friends,

It is with very sad hearts that we must inform you of the passing away of Dr. Karen Pate. She loved caring for you so very much, and would want to turn your dental care to someone she could recommend. Dr. Tyson Lebedoff at Skyview Family Dental of Tulsa is a caring dentist and will be waiting to serve you for all your dental needs.

In 2017 Dr. Tyson joined the practice of Dr. Glenda Payas, a close friend and colleague of Dr. Pate’s, both being graduates of ORU. Dr. Payas continues to see Dr. Tyson for her own dental care and highly recommends him.

Dr. Tyson and his wife have two little girls, ages 6 and 9. He enjoys spending time with his family, doing crossfit, golfing, and collecting vintage football memorabilia.

In helping with continuity of your dental needs and treatment, Matthew Pate, Dr. Pate’s spouse, has arranged with Dr. Tyson to provide care for Dr. Pate’s patients.

Dr. Pate’s sudden illness and how rapidly it became serious caught all of us by surprise. We know that she would have wanted you, the patients she treated and loved, to be well cared for in her absence. That is why we have made this arrangement with Dr. Tyson.

To schedule an appointment for routine dental care or if you have an emergency, please contact Dr. Tyson’s office, Skyview Family Dental, at 918-492-3003. Our address is 5314 S. Yale Ave, STE 1100.

Although the circumstances are unfortunate, we do look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into our practice.

Thank you,

Matthew Pate

Hello, this is Dr. Pate's daughter, Krystan Pate.

I would like to inform all her patients that my mom, Dr. Karen T. Pate, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021. She has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her family wanted to let her patients know of her passing because she sincerely loved you all. She knew that her patients loved and cared for her deeply.

I have attached her obituary bellow. I mentioned you all in it because you all were special people in her life. On this site, you can post a comment or send flowers if you wish. Her funeral will be web-casted, and you can find the link at the bottom of the obituary page, which is highlighted in blue.

Thank you all for sharing your immense love to my mom. We hope to reunite with her in heaven.

If you do the right things—keep your teeth clean, see the dentist regularly, and eat a "tooth-friendly" diet—you stand a good chance of having healthy teeth and gums later in life. Even so, after eating well over 75,000 meals by age 70, you can expect some wear from all that biting and c
