TOOTH TUESDAY 🦷

This patient had her three of her front teeth damaged when she was younger. Crowns and bonding were done, but she was never happy with the shade. Also, there was an open bite that gave a bit of a reverse smile appearance. Dr. Sikes replaced the two crowns and decided to veneer the third tooth in order to perfectly match her other teeth and close the open bite. The patient and Dr. Sikes couldn’t be happier with the result!

TOOTH TUESDAY 🦷
This patient came to Dr. Sikes with a broken bridge on her front teeth that was just a year old .Dr. Sikes found that her bite was very overclosed, making dental work and her natural teeth susceptible to fracture and other wear and tear. The solution was to open her bite using crowns, veneers, and partial dentures as well as implant restorations. This case was truly a combination of many elements of dentistry. Once the bite was opened, the teeth could be made longer, and the overall longevity of the restorations was greatly increased.

TOOTH TUESDAY 🦷

This patient came in with existing veneers/crowns that she’s had for many years due to tetracycline staining on her natural teeth (the middle photo shows the prepped teeth). The existing work was very well done and lasted many years, but over time, her gums receded, exposing her natural tooth at the gumline. Also, a couple veneers had to be replaced, resulting in some discrepancies in shade. Dr. Sikes replaced all existing work and added a couple veneers in the back of the smile to fill it out and add the cherry on top. He followed the shape of the existing work and brightened the smile by going a few shades brighter and Zoom whitening the lower teeth. We just love this patient and her results!
