Quick fix! Brush for a FULL 2 minutes, Slow down don’t scrub like you mad, get that gum line (that’s where everything be hiding) And don’t forget your tongue!

Whew 😅 life has been LIFE-ING lately!

Last year I was pregnant, and this year I’m adjusting to life as a mom of two and newly engaged. So if things looked a little quiet around here… just know your girl has been in a whole new season.

So let me reintroduce myself. I’m Kanicka Joseph, founder of K&K Smiles. I’ve been in dentistry for 16 years, and trust me… I’ve seen people try some WILD things to whiten their teeth. Some of it will make you say “WAIT now… why are we doing this?!” 😂

Funny enough, K&K Smiles didn’t start with some big master plan. It actually started with my daughter Kalani, who created the first version of our natural whitening toothpaste.

Now 5 years later we’ve sold thousands of products, won entrepreneurship awards, and built real connections in our community through pop-ups and events.

This brand is inspired by Matthew 5:14 — “You are the light of the world.” Our mission is to make oral care simple, natural, and confidence-building.

Next up: we’ll be at the Women of Color Expo on March 28 here in Tulsa, so stop by and see us!

Still here. Still standing. Still chosen.

I’ve learned that the real gift isn’t the parties, the presents, or the plans — it’s breath. It’s life. It’s grace.

God kept me. And for that, I’m forever grateful.

35 looks like gratitude, strength, and walking fully in purpose.

This week marks my final week operating inside

This space has meant more to me than just a location for my business. I was part of building it from the ground up — helping shape the vision and watching it grow into what it is today. It will always be a meaningful part of my journey.

But growth requires movement.

As K&K Smiles prepares for retail expansion, new partnerships, packaging upgrades, manufacturing scaling, and the expansion of our self-serve whitening experience, it’s time for me to shift fully into this next level.

What we’re building now requires focus, alignment, and capacity for national demand.

I’m incredibly proud of the foundation that was built here — and even more excited about where we’re headed.

Before I transition, I would truly love for my community to show up one more time this week!
