👋🦷 Meet the newest member of the Tucson Smiles team, Dr. Israel Saintil!

Born and raised in Neptune, New Jersey, Dr. Israel earned his dental degree and completed his pediatric dentistry residency at Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, D.C. After practicing on the East Coast, he made his way to Tucson and is excited to bring his experience from both coasts back to the Grand Canyon State!

Dr. Israel’s passion for pediatric dentistry was shaped by his experiences on mission trips, including providing dental care to children in Haiti. Those experiences showed him just how powerful compassionate dental care can be and inspired his commitment to helping every child feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their smile. 💙

When he’s not caring for little smiles, Dr. Israel loves hiking, golfing, staying active, traveling, and spending time with his family. He’s also a big pizza fan 🍕 and considers himself a champion-level UNO player! 🃏

After much reflection, it is time for me to begin a new chapter.

This practice has meant more to me than I can fully put into words. It has been a privilege to care for our patients, build meaningful relationships with families, and work alongside a team that cares so deeply about the people we serve.
