After nine years of caring work, Melody is retiring. While we are thrilled Melody is off to enjoy Tahoe with her family full-time, we are sad to lose someone who radiates care and empathy with our patients.

If you are a deeply caring person who wishes to work with a team that values compassion, excellent care and doing the right thing for patients, please consider working with Tahoe Oral Surgery in our Truckee office.

The receptionist role is the first to interact with our patients, greeting them as they come in, taking phone calls, and discussing treatment needs. Additionally, you will be reviewing treatment plans, helping patients understand their benefits, and reviewing care costs.

This is a part-time, 3-day per week permanent position
Tuesday: 7:30 AM -- 5 PM
Thursday: 7:30 AM -- 5 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM -- 5 PM
If you desire more hours, periodic Mondays and Wednesdays are a possible option.

Tahoe Oral Surgery and Implant Center remains deeply committed to the health of our patients and our community. As Governor Newsom's order to shelter in place remains in effect we are extending our limitation on seeing only emergency patients until May 4.

Tahoe Oral Surgery and Implant Center cares deeply about our patients and our community. In light of Governor Newsom's emergency declaration and recommendations from the California Dental Association we have decided to limit our practice to only emergency patients for the next two weeks(March 16th-March 28th).

This is being done out of an abundance of caution during this historic public health emergency. As health care professionals, we all have a role to play in "flattening the curve" in order to follow sound, scientific public health advice to help limit infections and slow the spread of the virus. We hope that through our actions we can help our community stay healthy and reduce the burden on our medical colleagues.

This made my day and I was excited to share with our team:
"I had molar ( #3) with a previous root canal that fractured and needed to be extracted. From my first contact with Tahoe Oral Surgery, my experience has been excellent. The staff from front office to billing to surgical were friendly, organized, and knowledgeable. Everyone was friendly, on time and efficient; the office is bright and inviting. Dr. Martin completed the procedure in under an hour and I felt no discomfort during or after. Dr. Martin personally called the evening of the procedure to check on me plus I got a second follow up call the next day. Few people want a tooth extraction and implant due to potential inconvenience, cost, and discomfort. I can vouch that Tahoe Oral Surgery minimizes all of these potential impacts and makes the experience as pleasant as possible. I couldn’t be more pleased by my experience.

Saw Dr. Martin for my initial evaluation and biopsy and Dr. Allelblatt for the follow up and subsequent surgery. Loved the friendly and proficient staff, loved the professional and spotlessly clean office and had a good experience. Dr. Martin explained everything thoroughly before and after my procedure and I had no adverse affects afterwards.
