Some kids have a white frosty appearance on their front incisors known as fluorosis. This can happen when kids have too much fluoride or minerals in their water during childhood. We often see these spots on kids with well water in our rural portion of Missouri. It can be tricky to treat, but here was a nice case we did today before and after using a resin infiltration procedure to blend and mask the white spots and make them less noticeable.

Is it ok if your child cries when you try to brush their teeth? As a pediatric dentist and someone who spends their entire life teaching, talking, and fixing baby teeth, I’ve found that the parents who push their kids to do hard things often have the best outcomes and healthiest mouths.
