A boat’s engine failed and no one could repair it, so they hired a mechanical engineer with 40 years of experience.
Inspected the engine very carefully, from top to bottom.
After going through, the guy put his hand in his purse and pulled out a small hammer.
He softly hit something. Instantly, the engine started again.
The engine was fixed!
7 days later, the boat owners got their bill for $10,000.
"What?! "The owners said. "You almost did nothing. Send us a detailed invoice."
The answer simply said:
Banging with a hammer: $2
Know where to play and how hard to play: $9.998
Moral: You are charged for what you know not for what you do, so please respect others work.
