Last week, the Alzheimer's Association Brain Bus visited all Palms Medical Group locations, bringing valuable education, resources, and support directly to our communities.

A special thank you to the Alzheimer's Association, Elder Affairs Florida and the Area Agency on Aging for making these visits possible. Despite recent storm-related damage to the bus and challenging weather conditions throughout the week, the Brain Bus team remained committed to serving patients, families and caregivers at every stop.

We appreciate everyone who stopped by to connect with the Brain Bus team and explore available resources. Together, we are helping connect our communities with valuable resources, education and support.

Schedule Your Mammogram and Join Our Breast Cancer Awareness Kickoff Event

The MammoLink Mobile Mammography Bus will be at Palms Medical Group's High Springs location on Oct. 2, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., providing convenient, on-site breast health screenings.

All insurance plans are accepted, and no prescription is required. Appointments take about 10 minutes, and same-day results are read by a trained breast imaging radiologist. Individuals ages 40 and older are welcome to schedule an appointment.

Appointments are limited, but walk-ins are welcome if space is available.

You may be wondering, why an otter? Why not a palm tree or our beloved Maxwell the Bear?

We encourage patients to plan ahead by picking up prescription refills and taking care of health care needs before the holiday. Normal business hours resume Tuesday, Sept. 8.
