That legendary tusk is a wildly elongated, modified upper canine tooth—not a horn.

Narwhals are toothed whales (odontocetes), yet they don’t have functional teeth for chewing inside their mouths. Instead, their dental biology centers on this extraordinary, highly specialized structure.

The tusk can grow several meters long and contains thousands of tiny nerve endings, making it far more than just a spectacular ornament.

We were honored to sponsor the Bubble Station at the More Than Four Foundation 5K. The More Than Four Foundation is dedicated to supporting children, families, doctors, and researchers in the fight against pediatric cancer, working toward a future where no child has to face cancer.

A special shoutout to our hygienist, Bridget, who participated in the 5K. We are proud to see our team supporting such a meaningful cause and helping make a difference for children and families facing unimaginable challenges.
