This is a long post, but I haven't shared much lately about our awesome team and I wanted to brag on them!
When I purchased this office in 2019, I really dug deep with the team into why we were all here together doing what we do. We thought a lot about what should be our core values that dictate every decision we make each day. Every team meeting we review these values and discuss how we have exemplified them and how we can improve upon living them out every day.
Its been over 7 years and I am so proud to say that this team really does live up to our mission and values. I wanted to share them with you all and say a few things about the team that works so hard to create such an awesome culture!
Diana and Karen have been with this office each for well over 20 years! They have weathered a TON of changes over this time and have stuck it out. They are embedded in this office culture and it wouldn't be the same without them! Karen has such a servant's heart. She brings a warmth and kindness to this office that is so special! Diana is amazing also and takes so much pride in caring for our patients well. She always has a great story to tell and has the ability to really connect with people! They each cleaned my teeth as a kid and to be able to call them friends and teammates is such a blessing! 🥰🦷🥰
Jess came along about a year after I bought the office. I hired her but didn't actually get to work with her for a month as I was on maternity leave after having my second son. This girl is my right hand! We work so closely every day taking care of our patients. She can read my mind, pick up right where I left off, and she treats our patients so kindly and intentionally. 🥰 She brings a lot of energy and compassion to our team! We are always getting compliments on how well we work as a team. We have stolen the nickname SHAKE N BAKE from Talladega Nights! We think it fits us pretty good! 👊👊🤣
Brea came along a few months later after Jess. She was someone we really needed! She has such a great memory and can figure out pretty much anything! She will dig into something and not stop until its figured out. She sometimes has to put on the IT hat, maintenance man hat, and more for us, and does it with no complaints! 😂 She along with Nicole have been the primary front office faces for the last 7 years. Brea brings to the team attention to detail, she is able to connect with people, and explain things really well in ways they can understand. She has developed into such a key part of our team! ❤️💪
When Karen came to me wanting to cut back her hours, Jennifer immediately came to my mind as someone to join us! I worked with her very briefly right out of dental school but quickly knew she was awesome! She had not been planning on making any changes to her plans at the time, but for us, she did! She has been such a great part of the team! Jennifer is so sweet and caring. She really is conscience about the quality of care she gives our patients. She makes people feel comfortable and is someone I am so happy to have as part of our team! 🥰🦷
As our office has continued to grow, we needed to add the ability to allow for more new patients to join our office by adding another hygienist. Ashley has been such a great addition to the already awesome culture we have created. This girl might be just as nerdy as me when it comes to dental innovations! We love to geek out! 🦷🤓🤓🤣 She does such a great job educating patients about their health and how they can improve it. She is meticulous and very thoughtful of how she cares for our patients! She has been with us now almost 2 years and has just fit in so great! 🥰
Abby came to us as someone we didn't know what we were missing until we had her! 😂 She came in wanting to gain some dental office experience before applying to dental hygiene school. We were not actively looking for this position, but she was smart and put together so I said let's do it! She has been with us now for a few years helping us keep sterilization moving efficiently and our rooms cleaned in a timely manner. It has been awesome to have her! She has also stepped in to help assist me when needed also. She got accepted into hygiene school and will be leaving us soon and we will miss her SO much, but we are SO excited for her!! Fingers crossed when she's all trained up she will end up back here! 💉👩🎓🥰
Rachel is another awesome hygienist who has been working with us a few Fridays and month for the past year now. I worked with her for about 9 months at another office before I bought ICFD. She is amazing! I tell everyone that I learned so much from her right out of dental school! She is so bright and does such a great job for our patients. Like all the other amazing team members we have, she cares about doing a thorough job for our patients. I have always wanted to work with Rachel again, and I am so happy that things finally worked out to allow that to happen. We are lucky to have her with us! 🥰🦷
Our newest, but also not really new, addition, Sarah! 🤣 Sarah just checks off all the core values! It was a no brainer inviting her back in to the office after Nicole left to be with her babies! Sarah is just a joy to be around. She radiates kindness. She is also very detail oriented and really picks up on even the very minor things that end up being really important. She has fit right back in to the office and has added even more into this awesome culture! ☀️🥰
I am so proud of these ladies and the work we do here. It is so rare to have such a talented, experienced, compassionate, and amazing group of people in one office. Even more rare to have it in such a small town as ours! We will continhe giving 100% for all of you and hope we continue to meet your expectations.
