It is always so rewarding when you can improve someone’s overall well-being with a dental/oral surgery or procedure.

Did you know that bleeding gums is the first sign of gingivitis? Gingivitis occurs when bacteria create a film on your teeth called plaque.

The bacteria in plaque is causing an immune response as an attempt to kill the bad bacteria. If left untreated, gingivitis can progress to periodontal disease, a chronic infection in the mouth that can lead bone loss, loose teeth, and even systemic infection.
