Did you know ? :

•If you’re paying for dental insurance through your employer, you will see deductions taken out of each paycheck. But if you don’t use the insurance, that money is wasted. Even if you don’t necessarily need services like cosmetic dentistry, you should still see your dentist twice a year for exams, x-rays, and cleanings. Talk with your dentist to see what your insurance will cover for these visits!
•In most cases, you’ll have a yearly maximum on how much insurance will pay for your dental expenses in a given year. But if you don’t go to the dentist and you don’t use this money before your policy restarts (depending on your insurance/plan), it doesn’t rollover. You should always try to use any and all benefits your insurance plan provides with your dental provider.

•𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧/𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 : Allergies can cause a sinus infection or sinus pressure to build up and because the teeth are located within close proximity to the maxillary sinuses above the mouth, you may feel tooth pain while experiencing seasonal allergies. This tooth pain is caused by pressure on the roots of your teeth from the surrounding sinuses.
•𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐝 & 𝐅𝐥𝐮 : When you are sick with the cold or the flu, your entire body may feel sore, including your teeth. Sinus inflammation is the primary cause of most illness related tooth pain.
•𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫/𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 : When the weather changes & the air becomes cold many people experience sharp ache or tooth sensitivity due to breathing in cold air.

You can be a ‘bruxer’ and not know it! Most people will grind their teeth or go through a phase of jaw-clenching at some time in their lives, but a sizeable proportion do it on a regular enough basis to cause damage. It occurs most commonly in 25–44 year olds. Reducing the stress levels in your life may well be the cure for your teeth grinding. However, it isn’t always that easy to achieve. If your condition is being caused by one of the other triggers, it may be that a change in lifestyle or a visit to your dentist will set you on the right road!
