What if a yearly checkup came to you?

Our In-Home Annual Wellness Visit program helps older adults stay connected to care without the challenges of traveling to a clinic. Along the way, these visits can uncover concerns that might otherwise go unnoticed and connect patients with support that helps them continue living independently. Some of the most important lessons in health care aren't learned in a classroom.

For former resident and current provider Hailey Blizniak, ARNP, the residency experience helped her better understand the challenges many patients face just getting to a clinic. Today, she's helping train the next generation of providers who are committed to serving rural communities.

For 25 years, Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic has partnered with Reach Out and Read Northwest to help children build a strong foundation for learning and lifelong health. Over the past year alone, our providers helped distribute 23,107 books to families and connected 11,322 children with the joy of reading.

A book can do more than tell a story. It creates opportunities for families to spend time together, supports language development, and helps children build skills that prepare them for success in school and beyond. Thank you to our providers, staff, and community partners who make this work possible every day. ❤️📚

Sometimes the most important part of a well-child visit isn't what happens in the exam room. It's the chance for parents and caregivers to ask questions, share concerns, and better understand their child's development.

In our latest blog, Clinic Medical Director Dan Richmond discusses why routine checkups are critical to supporting children's long-term health and development, especially in communities where specialty care may be harder to access. Read it here: yvfwc.com/blog/38255/

When people think about pediatric dentistry, they often think about healthy smiles. But the impact goes much further than that.

Dr. Joe Wilson shared a powerful story about a child whose unexplained behaviors were ultimately linked to severe dental pain. It's a reminder that access to dental care can help children sleep better, learn better, and thrive.
