🎉 October has a LOT to celebrate around here!

Sure, we got a fancy new name… Destination Dental ✈️🦷
But October also marks 5 YEARS since Dr. Lewis took over the practice!

And two people have been here for every. single. twist. turn. and tooth along the way — our amazing hygienists Tonya & Kellie! ❤️

So today we’re raising a (very appropriately dental-themed) toast to Dr. Lewis, Tonya & Kellie — cheers to 5 years! 🥂🦷

Happy 5th anniversary to the three of you!

Floss, floss, floss!!

Now your dentist AND your cardiologist may high-five you for flossing. 🙌

Some research shows people who flossed at least once a week had a lower risk for strokes caused by blood clots coming from the heart. They also had a lower risk for atrial fibrillation, or AFib, an irregular heart rhythm that can lead to a stroke.

Flossing can help prevent gum disease and oral infections. These are linked to inflammation, which may contribute to hardened arteries and a higher risk of stroke. The research is preliminary, but there’s really no downside to adding flossing to your healthy routine.

Proudly supported by Delta Dental Insurance Company.

Stay tuned…✨
