If your teen is getting their wisdom teeth out soon, you’re probably already thinking about what to have ready at home.

Here’s the truth: the first few days are the hardest, but having the right foods stocked makes recovery so much easier for both of you.

Start with liquids and soft foods (nothing hot, nothing through a straw). By day 3-4, you can introduce soft proteins like scrambled eggs and mashed potatoes. Around day 5-7, gradually add more texture with pasta and soft bread.

The most important thing? Keep them hydrated. Water, Gatorade, and juice help with healing. Just remind them to sip, never use a straw.

Stock your fridge now so you’re ready when they need you most. Recovery is smoother when you know exactly what to expect.
