Why won’t tartar come off with your toothbrush?

Think of plaque as wet cement. While it’s soft, daily brushing and flossing can help remove it. But when plaque stays on your teeth, minerals in your saliva can turn it into hardened tartar.

Celebrating Shellie!

Today we’re celebrating someone truly special at Wildwood Dentistry, our wonderful Dental Assistant, Shellie!

Shellie has an incredible 41 years of experience as a Dental Assistant, with most of her career spent serving patients at an office in Michigan. We are so lucky that her journey brought her to Wildwood Dentistry!

When asked why she chose Wildwood, Shellie said:

“What I love about Wildwood is that it feels like family here. I found my forever office until I retire, which I have no plans to in the foreseeable future.”

And when Shellie isn’t creating smiles at the office, she keeps busy with her permanent jewelry business, attending shows and parties, and spending time with her family. She is a proud mom to one daughter and a grandmother to two beautiful granddaughters, one in college and one in middle school.

Shellie, thank you for bringing your experience, dedication, and energy to our practice. Please join us in celebrating Shellie's anniversary with Wildwood!
