While we love completing dental work in the office, we understand that not all kiddos can sit through treatment, whether it be because of young age, special health care needs or dental anxiety. For those that need it, we operate out of Jersey Shore University Medical Center and Monmouth Medical Center - both have Children’s hospitals and incredible doctors and nurses who are knowledgeable and comfortable working with little ones 🏥

protect and restore teeth that are too damaged or decayed to treat with a white filling.

✨Stainless steel crowns are highly recommended for baby teeth due to their success rate, although, white crowns can sometimes be used as an alternative.

✨The main difference between white and stainless steel crowns, aside from aesthetics, is that white crowns are held on solely by cement and have no additional retentive properties. Also, placing a white crown is more technique sensitive, thus requiring excellent patient cooperation and ideal working conditions such as healthy gums.

✨The baby tooth remains under the crown, and both the crown and tooth fall out together when the time comes.

✨The adult tooth is unaffected by crown placement on a baby tooth.
