Why Can Your Teeth Hurt on an Airplane?

Ever felt a sudden toothache during takeoff or landing? ✈️🦷
Changes in cabin pressure can sometimes make an existing dental issue more noticeable, especially if there’s a cavity, cracked filling, or trapped air around a tooth.

Even if the pain goes away after the flight, it may still be worth getting checked before your next trip.

Restoring a missing tooth can sometimes begin right at the time of extraction. 🦷

When appropriate, an immediate dental implant may be placed during the same appointment as the tooth extraction, helping preserve the area and streamline the treatment process.

Every smile is different, so a thorough evaluation is important to determine whether immediate implant placement is the right option for you.
