Senate Bill 132, authored by Senator Liz Brown, passed 9-1 out of the Senate Health & Provider Services Committee today. The bill requires insurers to honor a patient’s request to assign benefits to the dentist of their choice, regardless of network status. Testifying in favor of the bill were Dr. Megan Keck, IDA Director of Government Affairs Shane Springer, and Dr. DeLayne LeFevre.

Our office will be resuming routine care May 4th, 2020. As we always have, we will be following strict infection control guidelines set forth by the CDC, OSHA, State Board of Dentistry, ADA, and IDA. You may notice some new protocols as the safety and health of our patients and staff is our number 1 priority. The office will be reaching out to all our patients who had appointments scheduled the last 7 weeks. We look forward to seeing you all again ... don't hesitate to contact us if you need us!

Due to the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, along with following recommendations from the American Dental Association, we will be limiting our time in the office to treat patients with emergent/urgent needs.

If you have an upcoming appointment in the near future, our office will be contacting you to reschedule. Please know that if you are in any need of emergent dental care, we are still here to help. It is our job during this time to keep people out of hospitals and the ER.

If you do have an emergency, please contact our office at 765-436-2433.
