Happy Earth Day!
Our office will be closed today, Wednesday April 22.

Here are some simple tips for making dental health more eco friendly!

1- Make sure you turn the water off when brushing! By turning off the faucet while you are brushing, you could save you up to 200 gallons of water a month. You end up conserving water, which is good for the planet

2- Choose traditional floss over individual flossers to limited plastic waste.

3-Reuse that old toothbrush. It is recommend to switch your toothbrush every 3 months. Repurpose that old brush and use it to clean hard to reach areas in your home. Just make sure to store it with the cleaning products or label it so you know it is now for cleaning other things, not teeth.

Make these small changes and our world will be a slightly happier place!

We will be back in office tomorrow, April 23! See you all then!

Did you know that February is National Children's Dental Health Month?

Here are a few facts about children's dental health you may not know!

Nearly 1 in 5 kids have untreated cavities.

Brushing and Flossing fights cavities, bruh. So stay forever in your dental health era. (sorry we had to)

Tooth decay is the most common childhood disease; it is 5x more common than asthma!

Tooth decay is almost entirely preventable! A 30 minute dental visit, twice a year, can keep your child from being a part of the 57 million hours of school that are annually missed due to oral disease.

Healthy dental habits start early, so make sure to wipe your infant's gums with a soft, clean cloth after morning feedings and before bed to remove the bacteria, sugars and acid that can cause cavities.

Sports are a major cause of dental injuries. They are responsible for 13-39% of all dental injuries in kids. Wearing a mouth guard can reduce that risk!

Children should come for their first visit anywhere between 15-18 months, sooner if you have concerns. This develops a good relationship at a young age, and helps children feel more comfortable and less stressed about visiting the dentist as they get older.

February is a great time to schedule a dental appointment!

We would be glad to provide great dental care for your child! You can contact our team at 615-595-1559 via text or call to schedule!

When a child we have seen most of their life ages out it is so bittersweet! We have enjoyed watching these sweet kids grow into well rounded, polite and smart young adults. We have no doubt they are going to do great things! We would like to thank all our parent's for trusting us and allowing us to watch their kiddos grow.

Hey everyone! We saved the best for last!

Meet Dr. Brad Farrow. Dr. Brad loves working with kids and young adults and takes pride in providing excellent dental care. He followed that with a two-year residency specializing in pediatric dentistry. He served as a pediatric dentist for the US Navy stationed in Okinawa, Japan.

In 2010, he and his family relocated to Tennessee and opened Farrow Pediatric Dentistry in April.

Dr. Farrow and his wife, Jill, have two daughters, Josie and Harper, and a son, Carter. He enjoys playing drums and guitar, exercising, and spending time outdoors.

We also want to give a big thank you to his family for supporting him, and us as a team. They are the OG 😊
