To help us provide you with the safest and most personalized dental care possible, we ask that ALL patients (current or new) complete the new forms and make sure their information stays up to date.

💌 New convenience option: You can now request to have the medical history forms emailed to you before your appointment, so you can complete them ahead of time from the comfort of your home!

Did you know? Your GLP-1 medication could affect your oral health.

GLP-1’s have helped many people achieve their health and weight-loss goals. But one side effect that doesn't get talked about enough is how they can impact your mouth.

Some people taking GLP-1 medications may experience:
✨ Dry mouth
✨ Bad breath
✨ Increased risk of cavities
✨ Gum irritation
✨ Changes in taste

Dry mouth is especially concerning because saliva helps protect your teeth by washing away food particles and neutralizing acids. When saliva decreases, your risk of tooth decay and gum disease can increase.

Here are a few ways to protect your smile while taking a GLP-1:
🪥 Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste.
💧 Stay hydrated throughout the day.
🦷 Floss daily.
🍬 Chew sugar-free gum or use saliva substitutes if recommended by your dental provider.
📅 Keep up with your regular dental cleanings and exams.
