Caring, understanding “honest dentistry” is how Dr. Betzy Lara-Perdue and Dr. Brooke Kennedy describe their philosophy of dental care. Dr. Kennedy explains, “We educate our patients so they can make an informed decision, and strive to develop a long-lasting relationship with them built on trust. We offer fair-minded options and make recommendations, taking into account the patient’s needs, priorities, and goals, then let them decide what’s appropriate for them.”

Welcoming patients age three and up, North Forest Family Dental Care is extremely kid-friendly. “We love seeing children,” Dr. Lara-Perdue said. “I take my time with them which helps build their trust. We talk about their pets, family and best friends. Great dental experiences when kids are little can create positive feeling about going to the dentist for life. Plus, when they are kept preoccupied, nitrous oxide is usually unnecessary.”

Dr. Betzy Lara-Perdue earned her DDS from The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 2000, and stays up-to-date on the latest advances by taking numerous courses in specialized areas of dentistry. She is a married happily for 12 years and is a blessed mother of 7 year old twins. Dr. Brooke Kennedy received her DDS from The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, where she was involved in various community service and treatment planning programs, traveling to rural areas and provided oral health education. She has been married to the love of her life for 2 1/2 years and recently gave birth to their first Child this last May. North Forest Family Dental Care offers a complete range of services using advanced dental materials and technology. They specialize in family preventive care, restorative, cosmetic cases (including smile makeovers with crowns, veneers and/or Lumineers®), orthodontics, as well as periodontal treatment.
