🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 💗

This month holds a special meaning for our ASA family because breast cancer has touched the lives of some of our very own.

We are incredibly proud to have breast cancer survivors among our team. Their strength, courage, and resilience are reminders that behind every pink ribbon is a personal story of hope, determination, and perseverance.

ASA honors the survivors, we stand by those fighting, we remember those who have passed, and we stand alongside everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer. Together, we celebrate hope, encourage early detection, and remind one another that no one fights alone. 💕

This October, we encourage everyone to spread awareness, support one another, and recognize the importance of early detection.

🍎 A little time away from the office, Concord style. 🍂

Our Concord team retired their scrubs early for the day and spent the afternoon apple picking, laughing, and enjoying a perfect fall day together. 🍎🍁

Because some of the best team building happens outside the office, with fresh air, good company… and probably way too many apples. 😂

So grateful for this crew and the moments they share together. 🤍

Part 1: The Before + The Why 🦷

Every smile has a story. And Jeff was willing to let us share his from the very beginning.

For Jeff, the decision to move forward with full-arch treatment wasn’t simply about wanting a different smile. His teeth had become loose and discolored. Eating was painful. Even sleeping was becoming difficult. And because his work involves speaking, teaching live workshops and appearing on video, it was beginning to affect more than his oral health.

After his dentist explained what could happen if things continued, Jeff knew it was time to do something.

Over the next few posts, we’ll be following Jeff through his full-arch journey, from the questions and concerns he had going into treatment to the moment he sees his new smile for the first time.

If you’ve spent any time in our Portsmouth office, you know Gwen does a whole lot more than treatment planning. She’s one of those people who keeps everything moving, makes sure the day runs smoothly, and never loses sight of what matters most: taking great care of our patients.

She’s also Dr. Kinney’s go-to for pretty much all things Portsmouth, which probably deserves its own job title.
