"I grew up in Russia, people went to the dentist only when there was a problem, or they had a toothache. For a long time, I thought that losing teeth was a part of getting old and I was terrified that it was in my future. When I moved to the US, I learned that there is a profession called Dental Hygiene and it plays a vital role in preventive dentistry. Dental diseases like caries, gingivitis and periodontal disease can be prevented. Knowledge is power. I love sharing my knowledge with my patients to help them keep their natural teeth for their whole life. Nothing you wear is more important than a smile!".

"I became a Dental Hygienist because I really enjoy helping people feel comfortable and cared for. I know a lot of people get nervous or even scared going to the dentist and I'd love to be someone who helps change that. I want patients to feel safe, relaxed and not judged when they come in. Along with taking care of their teeth, I think it's important to build trust and just make the whole experience a lot less stressful. I like the idea of working hands-on while also connecting with people and making a positive difference in how they feel about their dental visits".

"I became a Dental Hygienist because I am passionate about oral health and want to help people maintain healthy teeth and gums. I enjoy the combination of hands-on care such as cleaning and scaling teeth with patient education on proper brushing, flossing and preventive habits. This role allows me to make a positive impact on people's smiles and overall well-being while also offering a rewarding career with job stability and flexibility".

"I became a Dental Hygienist because I’ve always been drawn to caring for others in a way that's both personal and meaningful. For me, it's more than just cleaning - it's about creating a space where patients feel supported, understood and genuinely cared for. I love building relationships, getting to know each person beyond their smile, and helping them feel comfortable and confident. There's something truly special about being part of someone's journey to better health and it's an honor to help bring back that sparkle to their smile. Knowing I can make a difference not just in oral health but in how someone feels about themselves, is what makes this career so rewarding".

"Since I was 12 years old, it has been my dream to become a Dental Hygienist. Simply helping others has always been my main goal, not only to help patients achieve exceptional oral health, but to truly make a positive difference in their lives. I understand that many people experience anxiety or fear when they step into a dental office and it is my goal to create a calm, welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and at ease in my chair. I am passionate about educating individuals on proper oral health and empowering them to take control of their own confidence. Building trusting relationships with patients and seeing their progress over time is incredibly rewarding to me".

"I became a Dental Hygieinist because I loved the profession as a Dental Assistant and wanted to further my education. Being able to connect with patients, help them with their oral health, and brighten their day in the process is what makes me love my profession as a RDH!"
