Wow... a bacteria that causes rapid tooth decay!!!!

Little is know about the bacteria Streptococcus sobrinus, which accelerates tooth decay in some people. This will soon change because a team of researchers has now successfully sequenced the complete genomes of three strains of S. sobrinus.

The ADA Foundation is giving out awards to dental students who are strong academically and have outstanding leadership. That's awesome!!! Although our dentist are well seasoned and not fresh out of Dental School, Value Dental Centers looks forward to working with the next generation of Dentist.

The ADA Foundation Dental Student Scholarship Program is designed to recognize dental students who are strong academically and who demonstrate outstanding promise in leadership, public service/volunteerism, and/or research. The Foundation will award scholarships of up to $20,000 each.
