One of the most critical parts of a sinus lift? 👇Keeping the sinus membrane intact.

So how do we check it during surgery?

Watch closely as the patient takes a deep breath. The movement of the elevated Schneiderian membrane with breathing is one of the ways we assess its integrity before placing the bone graft.

This membrane is carefully elevated to create space for new bone — bone that will later provide support for a dental implant.

A membrane perforation is one of the most common complications during a sinus lift, which is why precision and careful evaluation at every step matter.

It may look like a small movement on camera, but during surgery, small details matter.
