Our Ice Cream Stroll flavor is… Greek Mastiha! 🇬🇷🍦

When we were asked to choose a flavor that represents Faklis FIT, we knew we wanted something that reflected our Greek heritage and our family business.

Mastiha is a traditional Greek flavor from the island of Chios, made from the natural resin of the mastic tree. It has a light, refreshing, botanical flavor with subtle pine-like notes and has been enjoyed in Greece for generations.

You’ll find mastiha used in favorites like ice cream, tsoureki, sweets, liqueurs, and even natural chewing gum.

We’re excited to share a little taste of Greece with Downtown Tarpon Springs today.

We’re ready for you! 🍦🇬🇷

We’re so excited to be part of the Downtown Tarpon Springs Ice Cream Stroll this Saturday! 🍦☀️

Grab a ticket, stroll through downtown sampling custom ice cream flavors from participating businesses, and make sure Faklis FIT is one of your stops! You’ll get to cast your vote for your favorite flavor and help decide who takes home the Golden Spoon! (Obviously choose us!)🏆🥄

We can’t wait to see everyone downtown and be part of such a fun event with our fellow local businesses!

As we wrap up Founders Week, we’re also celebrating someone who continues our family’s legacy every day, Vasile Faklis. 🎉 🎂 🎈

As the grandson of our founder, Vasile has dedicated his career to building on the values that have guided our family business for generations. Through expert orthopedic care, quality footwear, and a commitment to serving our community, he continues to honor our family’s history while leading Faklis FIT into the future.

Happy Birthday to Vasile, and thank you to everyone who has joined us in celebrating another Founders Week. We are incredibly grateful for the support of our customers and our community, and we’re honored to continue serving you for generations to come.

Founders Week concludes tomorrow, so be sure to stop in and take advantage of our Founders Week Sale! Look for the orange sticker throughout the store to shop a huge selection of marked-down shoes.

Happy Birthday, Vasile! 🎈 🎂 🎉
