Being a parent can be exhausting at times, but man is it rewarding.

Teach a boy to fish… 🐟

When I gave Rhett his first fishing rod he said “no thanks, I’m good” 💀

When I asked him if he wanted to try it out, he said “you do it, I play on my slide” 🛝

As I sat on the dock casting out my new toddler size fishing pole, I hear “Dada what you doing?”

Sometimes you just have to see what the fun is all about. 😂

Our lives were forever changed 3 years ago today, when we became parents for the first time.

Priorities quickly shift, and perspective is altered.

You certainly challenge us, and you may test our patience on a daily basis- but there is nothing I love more in this world than being your dad.

You help us remember life is meant to be fun. That laughter really is the best medicine. And that sometimes we should eat dessert first.

Where has the time gone and where did this “big kid” come from?!

Our first real Christmas Tree in almost a decade, and Rhett’s first real tree ever! 🌲

It was a blast going to the tree farm and picking out this beautiful 10 footer.

It was interesting getting down from the top of our SUV and into the house.

We are happy to report that the dogs have not tried to p*e on it as of now. 🐶 😂

An awesome quick getaway to Marco Island for my birthday weekend.

Rhett loved playing in the sand. We built race tracks for his cars and dug out “swimming pools”.

Dana booked a reservation at a steakhouse and I enjoyed a fantastic ribeye.

Some incredible sunsets to mark the end of each day.

A beach vacation with a 2 year old is exhausting, but also so much fun.

Thank you for all of the birthday wishes! Looking forward to year 36
