International Day of Charity
Today, on International Day of Charity, we celebrate the generosity of those who give their time, talents and resources to make a difference in the lives of others.
Dentistry has a wonderful tradition of service and we’re proud of the many CFDDA members who give back both here at home and around the world.
At the 2025 FDA Foundation Florida Mission of Mercy in Daytona Beach, CFDDA members Drs. Curtis Hill, Kimberly Dennis and Garett Johnston were among the dental professionals who volunteered their time and skills to provide much-needed dental care to Floridians in need.
That spirit of service extends beyond Florida, too. Dr. Marissa Whitehead recently traveled to Honduras, using her skills as a dentist to provide care to individuals and communities in need.
Whether volunteering at Florida Mission of Mercy, participating in a dental mission trip or serving within their own communities, our members continue to demonstrate the incredible impact dentistry can have beyond the dental office.
On International Day of Charity, we thank all of our CFDDA members who give back and use their profession to serve others. Your generosity makes a difference!
