Every year we receive proceeds from scrap metal that is collected through the work we do. Brian from the Star Group has been calling on us from the start, weighing out the metal and always wearing a huge smile. The proceeds are donated to a different local non profit each year. Previous organizations included Pierce County Humane Society , to name a few. This year, we asked Brian if he had a request and he asked us to choose an animal rescue. Around that same time, I had lunch with long time friend .e.swanson and she told me about which was started by retired dentist and mutual friend, who has always had a huge heart for animals of all kinds. Greg and his wife Danelle, devote their energy to giving these animals a happy and loving home. Check out Barn Stars to learn about the sweet work they do.
