The braces we use, the Damon Self-Ligating Bracket System, differs from traditional braces in that the orthodontic wire is held in place by a slide mechanism opposed to an elastic tie. What does this mean for you?

INVISALIGN
Dr. Vitkus is a certified Invisalign Orthodontist and in addition spends considerable time taking continuing education courses on Invisalign. With Invisalign we use a series of customized, clear, removable aligners to straighten your teeth opposed to wires and brackets like conventional braces. When you start treatment, you will receive several sets of custom aligners. Each set of aligners are worn about 1 week and are removed only to eat, drink, brush and floss. As you replace each set of aligners with the next set, you teeth move little by little such that over time you will notice big changes in the alignment of your teeth!
