They say behind every successful team is a great leader, and we are blessed to have one of the best!

Dr. Brown, thank you for being so much more than just a boss. Thank you for believing in us, encouraging us, putting up with all of our craziness (and there’s plenty of it! 🤣), and always wanting the very best for your team and your patients.

You’ve created more than just a dental practice. You’ve built a work family, a place filled with laughter, friendships, and people who genuinely care about one another. That doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because of the example you set and the heart you put into everything you do.

We know we probably give you a few gray hairs along the way (you’re welcome! 😂), but we hope you never question how much you mean to all of us.

This month, we are shining the spotlight on our amazing dental hygiene team: Salena, Amy, Chris, Michelle, and Britney!

Being a dental hygienist is about so much more than cleaning teeth. It’s about building relationships, easing fears, educating patients, and making every person who sits in their chair feel comfortable, valued, and cared for.

These five women bring so much more than their clinical knowledge and skills to our practice. They bring compassion, patience, laughter, dedication, and a genuine love for what they do.

They remember the little details about their patients, celebrate life’s milestones with them, and have a special way of making even the most nervous patients feel at ease.

To our amazing hygienist: We see the hard work you put in, the kindness you show, and the pride you take in caring for our patients. You are an irreplaceable part of our dental family, and we are incredibly grateful for each of you. Our practice simply wouldn’t be the same without you!

This space will soon become our new surgical suite, and we are incredibly excited about what it will allow us to offer our patients.

As we’ve planned our new office, one of our biggest goals has been to create a more complete, full-service experience. A place where our patients can feel comfortable, cared for, and confident knowing that our team is here for them through every stage of their dental care.

We have some very exciting things in the works for this space, all centered around one thing: taking the very best care of our patients and making their experience as easy and comfortable as possible.

We are so grateful for the trust our patients place in us, and we can’t wait to continue growing so we can serve you even better.

For years, Swansboro Family Dentistry has been so much more than a building. It has been the place where we’ve watched families grow, welcomed new faces, celebrated milestones, cared for generations of patients, and built relationships that mean more to us than we could ever put into words.

And now, we’re building a new home for all of that.

Seeing the lights come on, the front entrance take shape, and the spaces we’ve imagined begin to look real is such a surreal feeling. There have been countless decisions, long days, changes, plans, and a whole lot of heart poured into this project — all because we want to create a place that feels worthy of the people who have trusted us with their care.

This new office represents growth, but it also represents gratitude.

Gratitude for our patients who have supported us. Gratitude for our team who gives so much every day. And gratitude for the opportunity to continue serving this community we are so proud to call home.

We cannot wait for the day these doors open and this building is no longer just our “new office” it becomes your dental home too.

Swansboro Family Dentistry will be closed Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.

Our waiting room is still very much a work in progress, but this is one of the spaces we’ve spent the most time thinking about because it will set the tone the moment our patients walk in.

Dental offices can make people nervous. We know that. So from the beginning, we wanted this room to feel less clinical and more calm, comfortable, and welcoming. A place where you can sit down, settle in, and hopefully feel a little more at ease before your appointment.

We’ve been intentional about every decision in this space, from the layout and seating to the colors, finishes, and all of the details that are still to come. It has taken a lot of planning, a lot of second-guessing, and probably more design changes than we care to admit 😅, but seeing it finally start to take shape is such a good feeling.

Right now it’s drywall, construction dust, and a whole lot of imagination. Soon, it’ll be a space designed with our patients in mind from the very beginning.

We can’t wait to show you what this room becomes.

We wanted to give our patients a quick update. Unfortunately, one of our air conditioning units has gone out, and we are currently waiting for a technician to come out and assess the issue.

We plan to continue seeing patients as scheduled for as long as the temperature inside the office allows us to do so safely and comfortably. If we reach a point where we need to adjust or reschedule appointments, we will contact those patients directly.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and truly appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to get this resolved as quickly as possible.

There is something special about a front door.

To most people, it’s just wood, glass, and hardware. But to us, this door represents so much more.

It will be the first thing our patients see when they arrive—some excited, some nervous, some in pain, and some walking through with years of trust already built. Every person who crosses this threshold has a story, and it is a privilege that they choose to share part of that story with us.

Behind this door, smiles will be restored. Fears will be eased. Milestones will be celebrated. Children will have their first dental visits. Families will continue traditions of care. Friendships will grow, and lives will be changed in ways both big and small.

As we’ve poured our hearts into creating this space, we’ve never been building just an office. We’ve been building a place where people feel welcomed, cared for, and treated like family.

Today, it’s just a front door.

Soon, it will become the entrance to countless moments of compassion, healing, laughter, and trust.

We can’t wait to welcome you through it.
