🎉 A VERY SPECIAL CONGRATULATIONS TO DR. BOWNS! 🎉

We are incredibly proud to share that Dr. Allen Bowns was inducted as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists (ICD) this weekend in San Antonio, Texas! He was one of only six dentists in the state of Georgia to receive this prestigious honor this year!

What makes this recognition so special?

The International College of Dentists is the oldest and largest international honorary dental organization in the world. Fellowship is extended by invitation only and is reserved for dentists who have demonstrated exceptional professional achievement, outstanding leadership, high ethical standards, and a commitment to serving others. Candidates must be nominated by their peers and undergo a rigorous evaluation process before being selected.

With fewer than 3% of dentists in the United States receiving this distinction, Fellowship is one of the highest honors in the dental profession!

The ICD’s core values of Integrity, Leadership, and Service are qualities that Dr. Bowns exemplifies every day. From his dedication to providing exceptional care to our patients at Johns Creek Dental Care to his leadership and service in our community through Rotary, he continually goes above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of others.

🎉 Half a Life at JCDC! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating something pretty special — Melissa has officially spent half of her life at Johns Creek Dental Care! 💙🦷

Melissa, we are so incredibly thankful for the years of hard work, dedication, and care you’ve given to our patients and our JCDC family. We’re lucky to have you on our team!

And honestly, we’ll take any reason to celebrate our amazing staff… especially when it involves cake! 🎂🥳

Proud is an understatement! Everything he does, he does well. He doesn’t give 99.9%, he gives as far beyond 100% that his mind, body, soul and resources will allow him to give. While still being a husband, dad, OGO(granddaddy), son, brother, uncle, successful business owner, active leader at church in several areas…oh and he runs, announces at local schools and he has an active schedule with his therapy dog, Choco.

We love you Dr. Allen Bowns! Your selfless determination, strength and service encourages us to do more and be better!!

🦷 Dentist: Allen has been a general dentist for 34 years and owns Johns Creek Dental Care. 🏥✨

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family man: He’s been married to Victoria for 35 years and is dad to four children and grandfather to five—with #6 arriving in January! ❤️👶🎉

🔵 30 Years of Rotary: Allen has been a Rotarian for 30 years, served in numerous leadership roles—including three terms as club president—and has traveled to eight countries for Rotary service opportunities. 🌎✈️🤝

🏀⚽ Coach & announcer: He’s been coaching soccer and basketball since 1993 and is also the football and basketball announcer for two high schools. 🎙️📣🏆

🏃 Runner: A lifelong runner, Allen has completed everything from marathons down—and even ran track at the University of Florida! 🏅🐊💨

We have some exciting news to share from the Bowns family! 💜 Dr. Bowns welcomed his fifth grandchild on July 20th. Meet Miss Callie Jade! 🎀🩷

She has already stolen Grandpa Ogo’s heart and brought so much joy to the family. We are so excited to welcome this sweet little girl and can’t wait to watch her grow!

Some moments remind us just how special what we do truly is. 💙

When this sweet mom first came to see Dr. Bowns, she was the same age her daughter is today. Now, years later, it’s a joy to care for both of them!

One of our favorite parts of dentistry is building relationships that last for generations. There is nothing more rewarding than watching patients who grew up in our practice return with children of their own. Being trusted with your family’s smiles through every stage of life is a privilege we never take for granted.
