Please join us in congratulating our amazing Jess on finishing her Master of Science in Dental Hygiene!

Did you know a dental hygienist’s training curriculum ranges from a two-year Associate’s degree, a four-year Bachelor’s degree, and an additional year to achieve a Master’s degree? These advanced-level programs incorporate a greater depth of training on the scientific and medical aspects of the field beyond just cleaning teeth. Our three hygienist dream-team consists of two B.Sc’s and one M.Sc’s (plus one Certified Myofunctional Therapist!). We are proud of the brilliance of these ladies and their commitment to learning to the highest level of their craft!

Last month, Dr. Therese went away to dental camp in Seattle, WA , aka "the longest continuing education course on the planet". For six straight 11-hour days, she was immersed in the latest science and world-class techniques taught by the incredible Dr. John Kois. With a commitment to thoughtful, evidence-based treatment planning to promote dental well-being as much as full body health, Dr. Therese knows the importance of the relentless pursuit of excellence and learning from colleagues of the highest caliber. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Tom and his wife Kelly on welcoming their new baby, Conor! We couldn't be happier for them, and are wishing health (& lots of sleep!) for this new family of four.

Dr. Tom will be taking some time away from work to be with his family - in the meantime, Dr. Therese & Dr. Mary are continuing to provide the same high level of compassionate & comprehensive dental care for all scheduled and emergency patients at PVD.

This was a very special smile upgrade for our number one chapstick fan and donut dealer. Thin, worn enamel and an imbalanced bite were thoughtfully refreshed with 11 minimum prep veneers, some whitening, and composite bonding. We couldn't be more thrilled with the results!

Dark bottom teeth, rough and chipped bondings, and dental anxiety - a stressful combination for this beautiful soul. With her goals in mind, Dr. Therese thoughtfully planned and delivered porcelain veneers to reestablish function, aesthetics, and most importantly, confidence.
