When should my child first see an orthodontist? 🦷
We recommend around age 7, and here’s why that timing matters. By this age, we can start to see how the bite and jaw are growing. Are the arches making enough room? Is the bite shifting? Are any habits affecting development? We can answer those questions while your child still has plenty of growth ahead, which means more options, better timing, and a smoother road later on. Think of it like a check-in, not a commitment.
And if your child is older? Still a great time to come in. We meet kids at every stage and build a plan that fits them!
