We are a local dental office which - in my opinion - means we are a high quality community based practice that 'specializes' in making connections - because we like people - and doing the best dental work possible. What corporate chain offices have over us is their ability to produce extremely high quality marketing schemes in order to seduce you into believing crap. They are master marketers. People tell me all the time that we need to "market" more. Well here goes, this is my version of marketing - except it's not really marketing - it is just a cool story from our office. :) Check this out:

A week or so ago a young man was playing baseball and the all-too-often happened. He got hit in the face with the ball and his front tooth got completely knocked out. COMPLETELY KNOCKED OUT! Sidenote: taking out a tooth with a complete armamentarium and training and experience and local anesthesia and a well oiled team can be quite difficult...but for some unknown reason...a leatherbound ball needs only strike a young person in the face and boom - tooth completely out, root and all. Moving on.

The picture below shows a missing tooth - this is the BEFORE picture. The picture with the white line through it is the AFTER picture. Dr. Julie Boerger and Sanela answered the call. Literally and figuratively. This unlucky/lucky young man met Julie and Sanela at the office after hours during which the tooth was 'reimplanted' - look it up - it is a real term :) No dentist does this a lot, it just doesn't happen that often, but thankfully Dr. Boerger and Sanela listened during that part of their training. They quickly assessed, prepared, and acted. There will be more to do down the road, he will surely need more dental work to manage this tooth - BUT HE HAS HIS TOOTH. I (Andrew Albee) played no part in this story, but I do get to work with Dr. Boerger and Sanela and for that, I am extremely proud. Great job team. Thank you.
