•Checking in patients

Our office is closed this afternoon for staff training. We will also be closed on Monday September 4th in observation of Labor Day. If you are an existing patient with a dental emergency, please call the after hours line at (803) 406-1440 and the on-call assistant will be happy to help you.

We are looking for a CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT (MUST BE X-RAY CERTIFIED) who will make our office more efficient and pleasant for our patients. Dental assistants should be well organized and have great attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials as needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist
- Provide oral hygiene and post operative instructions
- Keep dental exam rooms clean and well stocked
- Maintain accurate patient records
SKILLS:
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- High school diploma; graduation from dental assistant school is required
- X-ray certified
