We’re excited to share that in May our office is upgrading to a new computer software called Oryx to better serve you!
As part of this transition, you will receive a text or email from our office asking you to complete forms before your next appointment (such as your medical history).
👉 A quick heads-up: our messages may look a little different than what you’re used to—but they are still coming directly from us.
We kindly ask that you take a few minutes to complete these forms ahead of your visit. This helps your appointment run smoothly and allows us to focus more on your care.
If you’re unable to complete the forms in advance, please plan to arrive 15 minutes early so we can assist you in the office.
If you ever have questions or aren’t sure if a message is from us, feel free to call—we’re always happy to help.

February 3rd is the Feast of St. Blaise, traditionally linked to throat health and protection. It’s a reminder of how we protect our kids today—through science and prevention.

HPV is extremely common—about 1 in 4 people in the U.S. carry a type linked to cancer. And it’s not just cervical cancer: high-risk HPV is now the leading cause of many throat (oropharyngeal) cancers in both men and women.

The HPV vaccine prevents most cancers caused by these strains, including many throat cancers. It’s recommended around ages 11–12, can start as early as 9, and continues through young adulthood.

Parenting is a long game. Sometimes protection looks like a routine appointment and a simple choice made out of love.

If your child is eligible, talk with your pediatrician. Prevention is one of the greatest gifts we can give. 💙

🎓 A Decade of Teaching & Giving Back
As the semester comes to an end, we’re proud to recognize that Dr. Richard Vermillion has been teaching at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry for over a decade.

Teaching future dentists alongside dedicated colleagues like Nick, Salim, and Doug, as well as many other outstanding faculty members not pictured, has been one of the most rewarding parts of his career. Mentoring students, sharing real-world experience, and helping shape the next generation of dentists is both a privilege and a responsibility he takes to heart.

The lessons learned in the classroom don’t stop there — they come back to our office every day in the form of thoughtful, up-to-date, patient-centered care. Congratulations to the faculty and students on another successful semester! 💙

🎉 Exciting News — Dr. Jennifer Is Now a Lecturer at the Engel Institute! 🎉
We’re so proud to share that Dr. Jennifer Vermillion is now lecturing at the Engel Institute — and what an incredible honor it was to be asked to teach at such a respected implant training center.

The Engel Institute is known internationally for its advanced education in dental implants and full-arch restorations, training dentists from around the world in precise, evidence-based implant care. Being invited to lecture there reflects Dr. Jennifer’s dedication, skill, and commitment to excellence in dentistry.
