Two years ago, Palmetto Orthotics & Prosthetics opened our doors with one mission: providing exceptional, compassionate orthotic and prosthetic care to our Lowcountry neighbors. And honestly? This feels like just the beginning.

As a veteran and family-owned practice, we’ve built our foundation on trust, personalized care, and a genuine commitment to helping every patient move forward with confidence. From custom orthotics to advanced prosthetic solutions, we’re proud to serve Summerville, Charleston, Mount Pleasant, and the greater Lowcountry region — and we’re just getting started.

July is Disability Pride Month — and here at Palmetto O & P, we think it deserves more than a passing mention. 💛

As a prosthetics and orthotics provider serving the Lowcountry, we get a front-row seat to what pride actually looks like: a patient walking into a follow-up appointment not because something's wrong, but to show how far they've come. A kid running at recess on a new pediatric orthotic brace. An amputee back to gardening, fishing, or coaching Little League without a second thought.

This month we're reflecting on what real support looks like for the limb loss and mobility community — listening first, building real accessibility into how we practice (not just meeting the minimum), and showing up consistently for our patients, not just in July.
