The summer heat is here, and a parked vehicle can become dangerously hot in just minutes.
🚗 Never leave a child or pet unattended in a parked vehicle, even for a minute. The temperature inside a vehicle can climb rapidly, creating life-threatening conditions.
🪟 Cracking the windows does not keep a vehicle cool enough to be safe. Even with the windows rolled down, the temperature inside can quickly reach dangerous levels.
🐾 If your pet can't go inside with you, it's safest to leave them at home.
👶 Before locking your vehicle, always check the back seat. Placing your phone, purse, or another essential item in the back seat can serve as a helpful reminder.
📞 If you see a child or pet alone in a hot vehicle and believe they may be in immediate danger, call 911. Your quick action could save a life.
