This patient needed a smile makeover, but she was also missing teeth in certain areas — which meant dental implants needed to become part of the treatment plan.

The challenge is making everything work together.

When teeth have been missing, gum tissue can also be lost. So in this case, we weren’t only replacing the missing teeth — we also had to recreate the appearance of the missing gum tissue to keep everything proportional and natural!

HIS IS HOW WE DO REVISIONS 👀

Veneers don’t always have to be removed the way you might think.

For this smile revision, we’re using a specialized laser to help break down the cement underneath the patient’s existing veneers, allowing us to remove them while protecting the natural tooth structure underneath.

Once the old veneers are off, we can move forward with placing the new finals and refining the overall smile.

A pretty cool look at how technology has changed the way we approach veneer revisions.
