The tongue helps create stability, seal, rhythm, and milk transfer. When movement is limited, feeding may become less efficient and more tiring for both baby and parent.

A tongue-tie does not look the same in every baby, and the signs are not always obvious. That’s why function matters more than appearance alone. 👅✨

The goal is not to rush into treatment. The goal is to understand what your baby needs.

Can the tongue lift well? Can it extend forward? Can it move freely enough to support feeding, swallowing, and early oral development? 🍼✨

Some babies have a visible frenulum and feed beautifully. Others may have restricted movement that makes feeding more difficult.
