Our very own Mr. Richard “Rick” Acosta, Pinewood’s Science Lab teacher and 2026–2027 Teacher of the Year, is in the running for Martin County Teacher of the Year!
If your child has ever come home excited to tell you about an experiment, a discovery, or something really cool they learned in Science Lab, chances are Mr. Acosta helped spark that excitement! He brings science to life for our Panthers in Kindergarten through 5th grade with hands-on, engaging experiences that encourage them to explore, ask questions, and LOVE learning.
Now it’s our turn to show him some Panther love!
