Not every aligner case is simple. This one wasn’t. 💪

Check out this amazing before-and-after case! This young patient came to us with an anterior open bite and narrow arches. Instead of jumping straight to braces, Dr. Standridge started treatment with a myofunctional trainer. By using the trainer just 1 hour a day and wearing it while sleeping, we:

✅ Closed the open bite
✅ Broadened the dental arches
✅ Improved breathing—her dad says she doesn’t snore anymore!

This patient had a significant deep bite — upper teeth so far over the lowers that the lower teeth had almost nowhere to go. Every chew, every bite, every day — that pressure was building up somewhere it shouldn’t be.

The culmination of dental implants and cosmetic smile design coming together for the ultimate end result! 🙂

Just look at how the smile changed! This patient did not want her full face shown but man I wish I could! How she smiles with her eyes now is just….wow.

This case was a referral from a fellow dentist, Cam Clifford DDS. I am always honored when my colleagues trust me to care for their patients and friends.

All upper teeth removed and replaced with dental implants and a full arch zirconia bridge.

Lower arch the patient elected to wait on removing the remaining lower teeth and do a lower removable partial.

Couldn’t be more pleased with how this case turned out!
