Sorry for the late post, but we are going to be closed again today. We have tried to reach all of the patients who are affected. We just don’t have enough staff that can safely get into the office. Several are still without power, several have their roads unplowed, and one got stuck trying to drive in. We apologize for the inconvenience.

WE WILL BE CLOSED MONDAY, FEBRUARY 23, DUE TO THE WEATHER. We are trying to call all of our Monday patients, to let them know. Please do not call us tomorrow to try to reschedule as there will be nobody there to answer the phones. We will be reaching out on Tuesday to try to reschedule everybody. Thank you, stay warm, and stay safe.

***UPDATE**
We have to close for the day. National Grid just told us that there’s a frozen conduit line under the ground and the lines coming from the road to our building have broken. They don’t anticipate it being fixed until later afternoon/evening. We will be calling our patients to try to reschedule. PLEASE BE PATIENT AND KIND TO MY STAFF. This is out of our control. Thank you for your understanding.

Unfortunately we have a power outage this morning and are canceling all patients until 11:00am. We’re trying to call and leave messages to all affected. We may need to cancel beyond that, depending on how repairs go. We have no phones, so unfortunately you won’t be able to call us. We’re at the mercy of National Grid right now. I’ll try to update this as we find out more information.

We would like to introduce Dr. Rahman Ullah, DDS to the Orthodontic Department at CDHC. Dr. Rahman began his dental journey at Khyber College of Dentistry Peshawar in Pakistan. He moved to the United States and continued his education at New York University College of Dentistry. He completed a General Practice Residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital and worked as a general dentist for several years. From there, he completed his orthodontic training at The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He currently works at several offices as an orthodontist and has served as a dentist in the US Army Reserves since 2009.

Dr. Rahman will be working with us on Mondays and (eventually) Fridays. He will be continuing treatment for Dr. Alex’s patients, whom he has closely communicated with, as well as accepting new patients. He is well-versed in all aspects of orthodontics including Invisalign for children and adults.

Dr. Rahman is married with three children (who are also patients at CDHC ) and when he’s not spending time with them, he enjoys cooking, cricket, swimming, and tennis.

We spent yesterday morning with our Pre-S, Pre-K and K friends at Saint John the Evangelist school this morning. Ms. Hollie and Drake the Dragon talked about healthy smiles and going to the dentist. We read books and did some fun crafts. Thanks for letting us visit.
