Dear Neighbors:

Our dental practice has been in Stony Brook, New York since 1997. Office hours are Monday to Friday 9AM to 5 Pm, with evening hours available by appointment. We offer both family general practice care and cosmetic specialty care at affordable, competitive fees in a pleasant, relaxed practice atmosphere. We accept most dental insurance plans as partial or full payment of our fees.

Our office uses digital radiography to reduce the amount of radiation when making x rays. Dr. Wendy CJ Huang is a graduate of the School of Dental Medicine, University at Stony Brook and has completed a residency at St. She has also volunteered as an attending at St. Charles Hospital for ten years.

Hey guys! I hope everyone is safe during this difficult time. The American Dental Association issued a recommendation that all dental offices across the country postpone elective procedures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Our top priority is the safety of our patients, staff and families, and as a result of the ADA's recommendation, our office is available for virtual appointment during the current COVID 19 pandemic. Please call or text Dr. Huang @ (631) 742-4032 to set up a Face-time call to evaluate if the dental issue is urgent or if antibiotic is necessary. Please BEFORE you floss or brush your teeth, to wash you hands throughly.

Random dental advice for pregnant mothers. Morning sickness is not pleasant at all, but here are some short tips that can help

1. Eat small amounts of nutritious foods throughout the day.
2. Chew Xylitol-containing gum after meals
3. Rinse mouth with baking soda in a cup of water after vomiting to neutralize the acid
4. Brush with fluorinated toothpaste twice a day to prevent demineralization
