🦷🎉 IT’S NATIONAL DENTAL HYGIENE MONTH! 🎉🦷

October is here, and you know what that means… it’s time to celebrate our SUPER-SILLY, SUPER-SMILEY, SUPER-HERO HYGIENISTS! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️✨

They battle the Plaque Monsters 👾, chase away the Sugar Bugs 🐛, and make those pearly whites SHINE! ✨😁

Their secret weapons?
🪥 A toothbrush
🧵 Floss
💦 Lots of water
😂 And maybe a few REALLY cheesy jokes!

So this month, let’s give a giant HIP HIP HOORAY! 🎉 to the amazing hygienists who help keep our patients’ smiles healthy and happy!

And remember, friends…
🪥 Brush, brush, brush!
🧵 Floss, floss, floss!
😁 SMILE, SMILE, SMILE!

Now go show off those sparkling smiles! ✨🦷✨

🎉 We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Bahar Houshmand to our practice!

Dr. Bahar earned her DDS from Shahid Beheshti University and continued her education at Stony Brook University and the University of Washington, where she earned her Master’s degree and second dental degree. She completed her pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

Following residency, Dr. Houshmand joined the University of Connecticut Pediatric Dentistry Department as full-time faculty, where she taught both dental students and pediatric dentistry residents.

What she loves most about pediatric dentistry is building positive relationships with children and their parents. She believes every child deserves to be treated with patience, respect, and kindness—and she loves listening to their priceless stories along the way! 💕🧸

She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

We are so excited to have Dr. Bahar join our practice and can’t wait for our patients and families to meet her! Please help us give her a warm welcome! 🎉💙

💙 This is why we love what we do! 💙

Helping children feel safe, comfortable, and confident at the dentist is at the heart of everything we do. We’re so grateful for families who take the time to share their experiences with us. 🦷✨

Here’s a recent review from Sarah that truly made our day! ⬇️

"My daughter was VERY nervous about having a tooth extracted, but the entire staff was so comforting, caring, and reassuring from start to finish. Dr. Victor was wonderful, and Jackie, his assistant, was absolutely amazing as well. They made her feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire procedure.

I’m so happy to say there were no tears during or after the procedure! We are incredibly grateful for the patience and kindness everyone showed her. Highly recommend this team!"

🦷📚 Today, Our Team Is Back in the Classroom! 💙✨

Our office is CLOSED today, Friday, September 18, while our team takes a day to learn, refresh, and grow together!

At our office, we believe that continuing education never stops. Today’s training gives our team the opportunity to build our skills, learn new things, and share ideas — all so we can continue providing the exceptional dental care and experience our patients and families deserve. 🧠🦷💫

So while we’re away from our dental chairs today, we’re busy making sure we’re bringing our best selves back to them! 😊

📅 We’ll reopen Monday, September 21 at 9:00 AM.

🚨 Have a dental emergency while we’re closed?
Please call 781-279-2400 to reach the dentist on call. We’re always here when you need us!

Staff appreciation day couldn’t have come at a better time. After an emotional week for our office we were able to come together for some fun today! We started out with some team building at Breakout games. Although none of us completed our challenges 🤪 we still had a great time! Then we finished the afternoon off with some lunch and laughs. Thanks Dr Meghan for a fun day out of the office! We will be back in the office at 8am tomorrow! 🩷
